A few words about this item from chef José Andrés:
Mild and full of the flavors of the Mediterranean - fruity, with a hint of herb - these tiny olives taste just like home to me. The incredible Arbequina has been grown in a region of Priorat, in Catalonia, for over a thousand years. They are picked by hand the moment they turn green at the end of October, and from there they are soaked in a blend of water, salt and aromatic herbs. To ensure a perfect flavor, the olives marinate for months until they are ready to eat. Try them on a tapas plate of cheese and jamón, alongside grilled fish and chicken or in a hearty salad. Don't let their size fool you - good things really do come in small packages!
