These delicious candies are made with extra large toasted macadamia nuts, caramelized and coated in white chocolate praline and dipped in cocoa powder.
Each piece contains a Style 0 macadamia nut, the largest and finest grade. They are coated in a candy praline, then a rich white chocolate. Enjoy with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
In 1946, Josep Cudié, a master chocolatier from the town of Vilafranca del Penedès, invented a wonderful chocolate treat when he coated caramelized Marcona almonds with white chocolate praline and cocoa powder, which were dubbed Catànies.
These macadamia bonbons follow the same recipe as the original Catànies. The only difference is the use of macadamia nuts instead of Marcona almonds.
For more than 50 years, Cudié chocolates have been handmade in the region of Barcelona. The original praline recipe has been passed from generation to generation. A family-run company, Bombons Cudié uses only the very best gourmet chocolate and the finest quality ingredients available.
