The Finest in Spain
Present Spain's exceptional jamón on the finest limited edition ham holder, 'Jamonero Ibérico.' This is the masterpiece of Don Paulino Pantaleon, the celebrated master jamón carver famed throughout Europe and Japan. His personal signature appears on each of his creations.
The holder is solid Sapele hardwood - more than one and a half inches thick - solidly anchoring the whole ham for slicing. The ham is secured to the base by a gleaming chrome gyro-clamp that rotates for easy repositioning of the ham. This allows you to carve every area of the jamón. A convenient round cutting platform is a great place to serve slices, or dice pieces of ham.
Our favorite touch for the 'Ibérico' Jamonero, is the hand-carved acorn - or bellota - which adorns the gyro-fastener clamp. It is this kind of attention to detail, reflects the overall craftsmanship of the Pantaleon family.
Don Paulino, his wife Isabel Gomez Alonso, son Marcos and daughter Elisa have made these extraordinary jamoneros for years. They make the base and arm from premium Sapele hardwood. The wood is denser and harder than mahogany.
