Rich and creamy, this delicious mushroom mousse is taken to a new height by the earthy notes of white truffle. Spread on a canapé and paired with pickled onions, it is a perfect match for a chilled glass of white wine.
What makes this mousse so great is careful preparation of the best ingredients: fresh mushrooms, wild truffle, fresh leeks and butter all add a different texture and flavor to each bite.
The artisans at La Cuna are in no hurry. Each batch of ingredients is sliced and sautéed slowly, then blended with a little fresh butter into a heavenly spread. We often just eat it straight out of the jar!
