Soria chorizo is a delicious slicing sausage with a rich smoky flavor. Soria is made using thick cuts of pork, creating a leaner, meaty sausage that has become a La Tienda favorite.
The recipe comes from the medieval city of Soria, in Castille, where some of the highest quality embutidos are created.
Like most chorizos, Soria is seasoned with smoked paprika (Pimentón de La Vera), sea salt, garlic and other spices.
This chorizo is fully cured and ready to eat with no cooking necessary.
(Peregrino Brand - U.S. made by a Spanish family.)

"Chorizo, chorizo, chorizo. I have to admit I was more than pleasantly surprised. This one is delicious and almost as good as authentic from Soria/Spain. Not as deliciously smokey and aged as the chorizos in Soria, but close enough. Salty, like it should be, but not over done. It is just right. Huge chunks of “lomo” meat inside and a lot less fat than your traditional chorizo. I love it. It is my favorite right now. Eat it by it self with some cheese and wine. I like a few thick slices heated on a pan with a splash of red wine, served with some crispy bread. Awesome!"
