Classic Alicante Turrón: Incomparable Marcona almonds make up 68% of this all natural gourmet brittle bar - the most that can be added before the bars start to fall apart! They are bound together with 100% orange blossom honey to make this bar crunchy.

Turrón Jijona: Incomparable Marcona almonds make up 72% of this all natural gourmet bar! The almonds are ground together with 100% orange blossom honey for a sweet and delicious treat.

For the Spaniard, 1880 is the gold standard of turrón - against which all others in the market are compared. Made following an artisanal process in Jijona, Spain.

Ingredients

Alicante: Toasted almonds (68%), honey (14.5%), sugar, glucose syrup, egg white and wafers (potato starch, refined sunflower oil).

Jijona: Toasted almonds (72%), honey (14.5%), sugar, glucose syrup, egg white, and emulsifier (mono and diglycerides of fatty acids).

"I grew up as a US Army dependent overseas. This is the candy taste from my childhood Christmases; my mother (from Alicante, Espana) would somehow get this Spanish candy wherever we were in the world. I was so happy to be able to re-kindle this tradition for her and my aunt since I discovered La Tienda ten years ago! It is amazing how many wonderful memories are stirred by the memory of a taste! Thank you!"
