Our COVID-19 Response

La Tienda is fortunate to be fully operational with no reported cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) among our staff. We are working hard to ship your packages on time and are seeing few delays in fulfilling orders.

That said, we are taking the threat very seriously and rest assured that we are following stringent precautionary measures in our warehouse. We are diligently cleaning and disinfecting our facilities. We are also monitoring employees closely to ensure their health and that they are following strict guidelines on cleanliness and personal hygiene. All employees are required to wear gloves during work hours and to wash their hands thoroughly before returning to work. Any employee who falls ill or who has spent time with a sick family member or friend is not permitted to enter the workplace until they are cleared by a medical professional. All non-essential employees are working remotely, and no unscheduled visitors are permitted in our building.

Our hearts go out to those affected by the Coronavirus, as well as the millions of people who have lost their livelihoods because of the current crisis. We are working with World Central Kitchen’s #chefsforamerica and have converted our tapas bar into a community kitchen to serve hot meals to the hungry in our area. We encourage you to donate to this nationwide campaign through our website or WCK.org.
