These delicious bonbons are made with toasted and caramelized Spanish Marcona almonds coated in rich 70% dark chocolate and coffee praline, then rolled in cocoa powder. For more than 50 years, Cudié chocolates have been handmade with a secret family recipe combining Spanish nuts and chocolate praline. Enjoy these decadent almonds as a treat on their own or pair them with a mug of coffee or hot chocolate.
Originally called 'cro-crem' when they were first introduced in 1946 by Catalan chocolatier Josep Cudié, their name was changed to Catànies after the historic Cal Catani building in Vilafranca de Penedès, in which Josep's chocolate shop was located.
